What is your reason for waking up everyday and following the same old routine? What is your reason for your way of thinking? When you think of a good idea, do you act on trying to make that idea a reality? Your ideas that you come up with should coincide with the action that would need to be taken in order to make that idea into a reality. Your way of thinking and your action behind that thinking has a direct correlation to your position in life right now.I ask those questions to you to lead up to these universal, self-evaluating questions: What drives you? What motivates you? If you have a nine to five and your unhappy, what makes you do that routine everyday without exerting some energy somewhere else to change your entire situation? I’ve been around people (and at one point in my life, I was one of these people) who will get up and go through the same motions of life that they do everyday unhappy, miserable, and complaining the whole day about the situation. They never do anything to change their situation; even their state of being uncomfortable isn’t enough to drive them to want a different life and that’s sad. You should never allow yourself to get comfortable with complaining about a situation you feel is uncomfortable.Your drive, your will, and your dream should motivate you to want to be something great. Nobody else is going to get you there but you. Sometimes a situation can look so bad to the point where we convince ourselves in our mind that there’s nothing we can do about it. No effort I put forth will ever get me out of this deep hole I have dug myself into. These kind of thoughts are focus killers. They destroy the positive thought process long before it ever can start. I want to remind you that you have control over your own body, your own mind, and your own actions. That may sound like a statement that did not need to be made; it’s common sense. But you’d be surprised how uncommon that way of thinking is. You have control over your own thoughts. You don’t have to think so negatively. If you used your brain and exerted more energy into trying to make your life better instead of wasting your time complaining, you can be very effective in your lifetime. Change your outlook on life’s situations to the point where you can always see the good in every bad-looking situation. Change your perception. If you can do this, you can change your life completely just through the power of positive thinking, the mental evaluation of your ability to be innovative and creative in order to make a plan of action, and the consistency to follow that plan of action.So again I ask you what drives you? What motivates you? What plan of action are you going to take to help yourself realize your potential? Nobody has control over your future but you, no matter what hand of life you were dealt. Let your motivation drive you to where you want to be in life. Get uncomfortable and then do something about it cause if you don’t, you’ll be another unhappy person complaining about their situation with no action or desire to change it.
